Special Update !! (Crayon Shin-chan Mangaka Killed in Clifftop Fall)

Yoshito Usui, author of the famous manga Crayon Shin-chan, has been found dead on mount Arafune, apparently after a hiking trip gone wrong.

The 51-year-old author’s body was reported lying under the Tomoiwa cliff by a male hiker. His personal belongings was found near his body, including his backpack and mobile phone. He had been reported missing a week prior.

His remains were airlifted from the scene for autopsy, with police concluding he died of a collapsed lung and other injuries incurred during the fall, confirming the identity of the corpse with dental records.

The precise circumstances surrounding his death are not known, but police do not seem to be considering foul play or suicide likely explanations; attention focuses on the precarious and unfenced nature of the trail, although it is said to have long been accident free.

The publishers of the manga has extended their condolences to the family, and will review the uncertain future of Crayon Shin-chan’s publication.

Apparently he fall off this cliff... What a sad ending for shin chan.... T.T

I defenitely will miss him..... especially Shin Chan... So.... ( Arigato Gozaiimaz for Yoshito Usui and Sayonara forever...)
I will miss you..... Crayon Shin Chan....

Why 09/09/09 Is So Special??

Have special plans this 09/09/09?

Everyone from brides and grooms to movie studio execs are celebrating the upcoming calendrical anomaly in their own way.

In Florida, at least one county clerk's office is offering a one-day wedding special for $99.99. The rarity of this Sept. 9 hasn't been lost on the creators of the iPod, who have moved their traditional Tuesday release day to Wednesday to take advantage of the special date. Focus Features is releasing their new film "9," an animated tale about the apocalypse, on the 9th.

Not only does the date look good in marketing promotions, but it also represents the last set of repeating, single-digit dates that we'll see for almost a century (until January 1, 2101), or a millennium (mark your calendars for January 1, 3001), depending on how you want to count it.

Though technically there's nothing special about the symmetrical date, some concerned with the history and meaning of numbers ascribe powerful significance to 09/09/09.

For cultures in which the number nine is lucky, Sept. 9 is anticipated - while others might see the date as an ominous warning.

Math magic

Modern numerologists - who operate outside the realm of real science - believe that mystical significance or vibrations can be assigned to each numeral one through nine, and different combinations of the digits produce tangible results in life depending on their application.

As the final numeral, the number nine holds special rank. It is associated with forgiveness, compassion and success on the positive side as well as arrogance and self-righteousness on the negative, according to numerologists.

Though usually discredited as bogus, numerologists do have a famous predecessor to look to. Pythagoras, the Greek mathematician and father of the famous theorem, is also credited with popularizing numerology in ancient times.

Pythagoras most of all seems to have honored and advanced the study concerned with numbers, having taken it away from the use of merchants and likening all things to numbers," wrote Aristoxenus, an ancient Greek historian, in the 4th century B.C.

As part of his obsession with numbers both mathematically and divine, and like many mathematicians before and since, Pythagoras noted that nine in particular had many unique properties.

Any grade-schooler could tell you, for example, that the sum of the two-digits resulting from nine multiplied by any other single-digit number will equal nine. So 9x3=27, and 2+7=9.

Multiply nine by any two, three or four-digit number and the sums of those will also break down to nine. For example: 9x62 = 558; 5+5+8=18; 1+8=9.

Sept. 9 also happens to be the 252nd day of the year (2 + 5 +2)...

Loving 9

Both China and Japan have strong feelings about the number nine. Those feelings just happen to be on opposite ends of the spectrum.

The Chinese pulled out all the stops to celebrate their lucky number eight during last year's Summer Olympics, ringing the games in at 8 p.m. on 08/08/08. What many might not realize is that nine comes in second on their list of auspicious digits and is associated with long life, due to how similar its pronunciation is to the local word for long-lasting (eight sounds like wealth).

Historically, ancient Chinese emperors associated themselves closely with the number nine, which appeared prominently in architecture and royal dress, often in the form of nine fearsome dragons. The imperial dynasties were so convinced of the power of the number nine that the palace complex at Beijing's Forbidden City is rumored to have been built with 9,999 rooms.

Japanese emperors would have never worn a robe with nine dragons, however.

In Japanese, the word for nine is a homophone for the word for suffering, so the number is considered highly unlucky - second only to four, which sounds like death.

Many Japanese will go so far as to avoid room numbers including nine at hotels or hospitals, if the building planners haven't already eliminated them altogether.

By Yahoo News...

For me... 9 is everything in my life.... i have a few 9's in my IC.... UTAR ID card.... i was born in year 1990... My Driving license also have a 9.... Credit cards... Applications.... everything around me is assciociated with 9 after all... ^^

Malaysian Muslims 'may attend' Black Eyed Peas show

KUALA LUMPUR — Malaysian Muslims are now permitted to attend a concert by US hip-hop band Black Eyed Peas, organisers said Tuesday, reversing an earlier stand which saw Muslims banned from the event.

The Malaysian website for the September 25 event, sponsored by the Guinness brewery, had specified it was "restricted to non-Muslims aged 18 and above," triggering controversy in the multicultural nation.

Muslim Malays, who dominate Malaysia's population, are not allowed to drink alcohol while members of the Chinese and Indians minorities are not subject to such restrictions.

However, in an about-face, concert organisers Artists World Entertainment said that anyone was free to attend the event which "is open to all individuals aged 18 and above."

The organisers did not give any reason for the change in its position.

"As a reputable concert organiser with years of experience showcasing international acts in Malaysia, we will continue to adhere strictly to the conditions as stated in our licensing approvals," they said in a statement.

The furore is the latest in a series of cases which have raised fears that Islamic law is on the rise in Malaysia, threatening its secular status.

Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno, a 32-year-old part-time model and mother of two, was sentenced to six strokes of the cane by an Islamic court in July for drinking beer.

The government said the punishment was "too harsh" and threatened Malaysia's reputation as a moderate nation. It said the sentence would be put on hold while a review was conducted.

There have also been moves to limit the sale of alcohol in Selangor, the state which surrounds the capital, Kuala Lumpur.

Performances by foreign bands frequently come under fire in Malaysia, particularly from the conservative Islamic party PAS.

The PAS has called for Danish band Michael Learns to Rock to be banned from performing on September 5, saying it was an insult to Muslims during the fasting month of Ramadan...

* Does this mean that Muslims are allowed to drink and party there??? May Attend seems as a stupid phrase.... Then i am not going... They are a total fucks and they have a record of being a party popper.... $hit@sses should not be permitted there....When they are fuckin Drunk....*

No Malays & Muslims at Black Eyed Peas concert...

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) – Muslims in Malaysia have been barred from attending a concert by U.S. hip hop band the Black Eyed Peas sponsored by Guinness which is owned by the world's biggest spirits group Diageo.

The move comes after a Malaysian Islamic court sentenced a 32-year Muslim woman to be caned after she was caught drinking beer in a hotel and at a time when an opposition Islamic party has moved against beer sales.

The concert, part of celebrations of Guinness 250th birthday, asks on its website (http://www.arthursday.com.my) "Are you a non-Muslim aged 18 years and above?" and if the response is no, access is not allowed.

Muslims account for 55 percent of the 27 million people in this Southeast Asian country and are barred from consuming alcohol although the rules are regularly flouted, especially in big cities like the capital, Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia's Guinness Anchor which sells Guinness and other brands here had sales of 1.2 billion Malaysian ringgit ($340.6 million) in 2008.
Even without alcohol, foreign bands are subject to scrutiny. Earlier this week, the Pan Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) said it wanted Danish band Michael Learns to Rock banned from performing as it would cause immorality.

Since 2007, PAS, the country's second largest political group measured by party membership, has campaigned against performances by the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna, Gwen Stefani and Avril Lavigne.

Actually, they shuld Blame on PAS.... Which they are Brainless and no sense of entertainment..... All with the stupid laws of how to be the most Boring guy and girls in the world....

I am feeling so lucky not to be one of them....
